University of New Haven Announces Location in Misk City for its International Branch Campus in Saudi Arabia
University of New Haven-Riyadh is scheduled to open in Fall 2026 with the launch of a College of Business and Digital Innovation that is expected to attract an inaugural incoming class of up to 500 students to pursue degrees in the University’s signature programs in business, entrepreneurship and digital innovation.

The University of New Haven announced today that its College of Business and Digital Innovation at its international branch campus in Saudi Arabia, will be located in Riyadh in “Misk City,” a dedicated district designed to support education, innovation, entrepreneurship, and talent development.
The College of Business and Digital Innovation will form the first phase of . This fall, it will welcome the first cohort of undergraduate and graduate students pursuing programs in business, entrepreneurship and digital innovation.
“This is an important milestone for the University of New Haven as we get ever closer to launching the world’s first U.S. international branch campus in Saudi Arabia,” said Jens Frederiksen, President of the University of New Haven. “Misk City is an exceptional setting for the first phase of our Riyadh campus, and this agreement reflects the strength of our long-term commitment to Saudi Arabia and to delivering globally accredited, industry-driven education in the Kingdom.”

Misk City brings learning, work, culture, and community life together in one destination, in close alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 ambitions. The College of Business and Digital Innovation is intended to prepare graduates for high-growth sectors central to the Kingdom’s future economy, including business, technology, tourism, sport, and the creative industries. Its academic model will emphasize applied learning, industry engagement, and strong links to the wider innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem developing in Riyadh.
Misk City was established to support innovation, entrepreneurship, and the development of future leaders. Its focus on innovation, education, arts and culture, and sports makes it a strong fit for NHU-Riyadh’s first academic college and for the University’s wider ambition to contribute to Saudi Arabia’s human capability and workforce development goals.

The University of New Haven is the first American university to receive a foreign branch campus license from the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
