Over the past 18 years, under the leadership of Dr. Steven H. Kaplan, Ph.D., the University has experienced significant growth — both in enrollment and in the expansion of the university's West Haven campus. Enrollment has increased to 7,500 undergraduate and graduate students. In the last decade, the university has completed more than $300 million in major capital projects while launching more than two dozen new academic programs. The University of New Haven also has campuses in Tuscany, Italy, and Orange, Conn.
Since its founding on the Yale University campus in 1920, the University of New Haven has steadily grown to become a thriving, top-tier university. These achievements have been recognized by U.S. News & World Report, which lists the University of New Haven among the top comprehensive universities in the North, and The Princeton Review, which has ranked the University among the best colleges in the country. This recognition underscores our rapidly growing reputation as a world-class institution of higher learning.
Please visit the University of New Haven campus and experience for yourself some of the dynamic transformations taking place. In addition to our outstanding academic programs, the University features numerous concerts, plays, art exhibits, lectures, and summer camps open to the public.

Athletic Events at the University of New Haven
The University of New Haven is a member of the athletically and academically prestigious Northeast-10 Conference and NCAA Division II.
