Important Information and Updates

Fall 2026 Pre-Registration
|
Believe it or not, it's time for Fall pre-registration!
Self Service Banner (SSB) will open at 7:00am on the following mornings:
Graduate and Doctoral Students - Tuesday, March 31
Seniors (87 credits and above) – Tuesday, April 7
If you are in a Special Population, you do not need a registration PIN since you register before other groups of students.
Special Populations* – Wednesday, April 8
*Students are considered part of a special population if their registration pin begins with 1.
Special population students who are not seniors will receive their registration pins from their advisers.
Juniors (57 to 86 credits) – Thursday, April 9
Sophomores (27 to 56 credits) – Tuesday, April 14
First Year (0 to 26 credits) – Thursday, April 16
For your convenience, staff will be available in the One Stop Office in Bergami Hall beginning at 7 a.m. on all registration days to support students with their registration process.

Summer Financial Aid Information
|
|
|
|
Planning to take advantage of the University of New Haven’s wide selection of summer courses? Summer tuition bills will be available in ePay on April 15, 2026 and will be due on May 13, 2026.
Financial aid may be available to help cover your costs! Below is a quick overview of how to apply and what to expect.
How to Apply:
|
- Register for your summer courses.
- Review the information and complete the Summer Financial Aid Application on myºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï.
- Monitor your University email for eligibility updates beginning in mid-March.
- Meet all Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards. SAP will be reviewed at the end of May. Students who do not meet SAP requirements will have federal aid and some private loans canceled prior to summer disbursement.

Class of 2026 - Save the Date!
|
Charge Out is an exciting opportunity for graduating students to pick up regalia for Commencement, sign up for celebratory events, and meet with campus partners to help ensure your success as you prepare to graduate.
The event will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 1 - 6 p.m. in the David A. Beckerman Recreation Center, but you are not required to stay the full time. We encourage you to drop in when your schedule allows you to so that you can participate in this ºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï tradition.

Coming Soon...A New Monthly Payment Plan
|
Based on feedback from students and families, we are pleased to share that a new monthly payment plan will soon be available right in ePay, offering a more flexible way to manage paying your tuition bill.
Plan Details:
|
- $55 enrollment fee per semester
- Summer Term Plan (NEW!)
- 3 monthly payments - May through July
- Fall Term Plan
- 5 monthly payments - July through November
- Spring Term Plan
- 5 monthly payments - December through April
- Payments will be due on the 15th of each month
- Optional automatic withdrawal from your checking or savings account (NEW!)

Financial Wellness Focus: Outside Scholarships
|
|
|
|
Searching for outside scholarships is a great way to help fund your education beyond the support you may receive from the university. Check out our tips below to help with your scholarship search process.

- List keywords based on your background, major, and interests.
- Use filter to narrow results
|
- Read the criteria carefully to ensure you qualify.
- Choose 5-10 scholarships that fit your profile.
|
- Tailor your resume to highlight relevant skills and experience.
- Write a custom essay for each scholarship.
|
- Request letters 2 weeks before the deadline.
- Choose recommenders who know you well.
|
- Double check your application.
- Ensure all required materials are included.

- Notify the Financial Aid Office of the award.
- Send a thank-you note to the scholarship organization.

Check Your Account for Holds
|
To help you prepare for a successful Fall 2026 registration, we highly encourage all students to check their account for holds prior to their pre-registration date.
Students can check for holds in Self Service Banner (SSB) via the myºÚÁÏÍø³Ô¹Ï portal. In SSB click on Student > Registration > Registration Status > Select Fall 2026 > Submit.
If you see a caution sign, you have a hold on your account that will prevent you from registering for classes. Click on View Holds at the bottom of the page for more information.
